How To Make Slow Roast Honey & Sesame Duck

Ingredients

  • 4 duck legs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt and pepper.

  3. Place the duck legs in a roasting dish and pour the honey and sesame glaze over them, making sure they are well coated.

  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the duck legs.

  5. Cover the dish with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 2 hours.

  6. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Roast uncovered for an additional 30 minutes or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the duck rest for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve the slow roast honey & sesame duck with steamed rice or your favorite side dishes.
