Ingredients

  • 4 cucumbers
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons dill seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers.

  2. In a large jar or container, combine vinegar, water, garlic, jalapeno pepper, dill seeds, peppercorns, and salt.

  3. Stir to dissolve the salt and combine the ingredients.

  4. Add sliced cucumbers to the jar and press down to submerge them in the brine.

  5. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

  6. Enjoy the spicy and crunchy dill pickles!
