How To Make Harissa Lamb Kebabs

Spicy and flavorful grilled lamb kebabs with a kick of harissa paste.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb leg boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes before grilling

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add lamb cubes, harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well, cover with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  2. Preheat the grill to high heat.

  3. Skewer the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, about 4-5 cubes per skewer.

  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until the meat is charred on the outside and cooked through on the inside.

  5. Serve hot with a side of mint yogurt dip or tzatziki sauce.
