  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of crusty bread, toasted

Instructions

  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream. Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.

  4. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  5. Serve the creamy sauce over toasted crusty bread.
