  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano, and black pepper. Cook for another minute.

  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  6. Remove from heat and serve over grilled chicken, shrimp, or your favorite seafood.
