How To Make Thanksgiving Corn and Bacon Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of frozen sweet corn
  • 1 tsp of fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

  2. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and red bell pepper until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes. Add in the garlic and cook for another minute.

  3. Stir in the frozen sweet corn and thyme, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the corn is heated through and the vegetables are tender.

  4. Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet and give everything a good stir. Serve immediately.
