How To Make Breakfast Strata Recipe
A hearty and savory egg dish with layers of bread, cheese, and sausage. Perfect for a weekend brunch.

Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread, cubed
- 1 lb sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Add a layer of bread cubes to the bottom of the dish, followed by a layer of sausage and cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the bread mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
