How To Make Easy Sausage Strata Recipe

Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread, cubed
- 1 lb of sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tsp of mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

In the baking dish, layer half of the bread cubes, followed by half of the cooked sausage and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour the mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

Bake the strata in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden and the eggs have set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
