How To Make Tartiflette

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 8 oz bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 8 oz Reblochon cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, sauté the onions until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  4. Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 5 minutes, until they are slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the bacon and onion mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, bacon, and onions.

  6. Pour the white wine over the potato mixture and top with the sliced Reblochon cheese.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
