  • 4 large Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cover the cubed potatoes with cold water and add 1 tbsp of salt.

  2. Bring the water to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until they are fork-tender.

  3. Drain the water from the potatoes and add the butter, milk, and heavy cream.

  4. Use a potato masher or hand mixer to mash the potatoes until they are creamy and fluffy.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
