How To Make Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of potatoes
- ½ cup of milk
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions

Peel and rinse the potatoes, then cut them into cubes.

Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Add salt to the water.

Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes until they are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot.
