Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork loin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the pork, cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place a spoonful of the filling onto a spring roll wrapper. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides, and seal the edge with water.

  3. Repeat with the remaining filling and wrappers.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat.

  5. Fry the rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
