How To Make Next Level Sausage Rolls
These sausage rolls are a delicious twist on the classic recipe, with a flavorful filling and a golden, flaky pastry.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried sage
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, mix together the ground sausage, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried sage, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it in half lengthwise so you have two long strips.

Place half of the sausage mixture along the center of each pastry strip. Fold the pastry over the sausage and press the edges to seal.

Cut each strip into smaller sausage rolls, about 1.5 inches in width. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with the beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
