How To Make Prawn & Avocado Wrap

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 4 large whole wheat wraps
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.

  2. Season the prawns with salt and pepper. Cook them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

  3. Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.

  4. Warm the wraps in a dry skillet for a few seconds, just until pliable.

  5. Lay a wrap flat on a clean surface and arrange a few prawns in the center.

  6. Top with slices of avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro.

  7. Squeeze lime juice over the fillings and season with salt and pepper.

  8. Fold in the sides of the wrap and roll it up tightly.

  9. Repeat with the remaining wraps and fillings.

  10. Slice each wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
