How To Make Turnip and Beef Stew Recipe
A hearty and comforting stew made with tender beef, sweet turnips, and aromatic herbs.

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 turnips, peeled and cubed
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 4 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef and set aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.

Add the turnips, potatoes, and carrots to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the thyme, rosemary, beef broth, and beef to the pot.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
