Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. Add green beans to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.

  4. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.

  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes until the green beans are fully tender and the sauce has thickened.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle cooked bacon over top before serving.
