How To Make Sally’s Spinach Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

In a separate pot, cook the spinach in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash them with a potato masher or fork until smooth.

Add the cooked spinach, butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Stir until well combined.

Place the pot back on the stove over low heat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to heat through.
