How To Make Whipped Shortbread Cookies

- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until creamy and smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and cornstarch.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Scoop small portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.

If desired, decorate the cookies with sprinkles or colored sugar.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
