Ingredients

  • 4 medium yams, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the yam cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. Spread the coated yams in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the yams are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
