Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized turnips, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the cubed turnips. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

  2. Drain the cooked turnips and return them to the pot.

  3. Add the butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the pot with the turnips.

  4. Use a potato masher or immersion blender to mash the turnips until smooth and creamy.

  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  6. Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
