How To Make Pickled Turnip Recipe
Crispy, tangy and mildly sweet pickled turnips that add a burst of flavor to any dish.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 medium turnips, peeled and sliced into matchsticks
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tsp of kosher salt
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine water, white vinegar, sugar, garlic and kosher salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Add the sliced turnips to the pot and let the mixture come to a boil again.

Reduce heat to a simmer and let the turnips cook for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Transfer the turnips and the pickling liquid to a glass jar or container with a lid.

Seal the jar or container and refrigerate for 2-3 days before serving.
