Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the carrots with maple syrup, melted butter, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the carrots on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.

  5. In a small pan, toast the pecans until fragrant and slightly browned.

  6. Remove the carrots from the oven and sprinkle with toasted pecans.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
