How To Make Spiced Maple & Pecan Cheesecake Bars
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Whipped cream, for serving
- Pecan halves, for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
-
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
-
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until well combined.
-
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the heavy cream. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
-
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish.
-
Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to set.
-
Cut into squares and serve with a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with pecan halves.
