How To Make Italian-Style Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Place them in a baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Stuff the bell peppers with the ground beef mixture.

Pour the marinara sauce over the stuffed peppers.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
