Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the potato cubes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt.

  2. Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes until fork-tender, about 15 minutes.

  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the saucepan.

  4. Add the butter, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder to the saucepan with the potatoes.

  5. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Transfer the mashed potatoes to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
