Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Place the diced potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

While the potatoes are cooking, heat the olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash them with a potato masher until smooth.

Stir in the garlic and olive oil mixture, chopped basil leaves, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
