How To Make Banana Pepper and Bacon Jam
A sweet and savory spread perfect for sandwiches, crackers, and burgers.

Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup of chopped banana peppers
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

Add chopped onion to the same skillet and cook until translucent.

Add chopped banana peppers to the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add brown sugar and apple cider vinegar to the skillet, stirring to combine the ingredients.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has reduced and the jam has thickened.

Add the cooked bacon to the jam and stir until combined.

Remove the skillet from the heat and let the jam cool to room temperature before serving.
