How To Make Turkey Twist Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey, onion, and garlic until the turkey is no longer pink.

  3. Stir in the thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese and frozen peas.

  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.

  6. Divide the turkey mixture equally onto the center of each pastry square. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling, creating a twisted appearance.

  7. Place the turkey twist pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
