How To Make Turkey Twist Pie

We have turkey sandwiched between lovely bread, baked as pie filling, and cooked in a casserole. Whatever way it’s served, turkey meat is a versatile dish you just can’t get enough of.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey, onion, and garlic until the turkey is no longer pink.

Stir in the thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese and frozen peas.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.

Divide the turkey mixture equally onto the center of each pastry square. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling, creating a twisted appearance.

Place the turkey twist pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
