How To Make Proper Turkey Gravy

- 3 tablespoons turkey drippings or butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups turkey or chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the turkey drippings or butter over medium heat.

Add the flour and whisk constantly for about 1-2 minutes until it turns golden brown.

Slowly pour in the turkey or chicken broth while continuing to whisk, until the mixture is smooth.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Strain the gravy through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any lumps.

Serve the turkey gravy hot with roasted turkey.
