  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Add asparagus to the skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until it becomes crisp-tender.

  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

  6. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy!
