How To Make Microwave Bacon & Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15.5 oz each) of white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 tsp of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

In a microwave-safe casserole dish, cook the bacon on high for 5 minutes or until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In the same dish, add the onion and garlic. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until softened.

Stir in the beans, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Microwave on high for 8 minutes or until heated through.

Remove the dish from the microwave and sprinkle the cooked bacon and shredded cheese on top.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
