How To Make Calico Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) baked beans
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.

Add the diced onion and green bell pepper to the skillet, and sauté until they are tender.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked bacon, sautéed onion and bell pepper, kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish, and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
