How To Make Goulash

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the meat from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant.

Add the sliced bell peppers, carrots, and potatoes to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Return the browned meat back to the pot. Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.

Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
