How To Make Rib-eye steaks with chilli butter & homemade chips

Ingredients
- 4 Rib-eye steaks
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chips
- Vegetable oil, for deep frying
Instructions

Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes to make the chilli butter.

Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).

Fry the potato chips in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.

Sprinkle the chips with salt while still hot.

Serve the rib-eye steaks topped with a generous dollop of chilli butter, alongside the homemade chips.
