How To Make Wonton Noodle Soup

A comforting soup with wontons and noodles in a savory broth.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb thin egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.

  2. Place a heaping teaspoon of the filling in the middle of each wonton wrapper. Fold the edges over the filling and press to seal.

  3. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the wontons and cook for 3-4 minutes until they float to the surface.

  4. Add the noodles to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.

  5. Season the soup with salt and pepper.

  6. Divide the soup among 4 bowls and top with sliced green onions.
