How To Make Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 lbs round steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions

Season the round steak with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

In a slow cooker, layer the sliced onion and minced garlic.

Place the seasoned round steak on top of the onion and garlic.

In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Pour the sauce mixture over the round steak in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours, or until the steak is tender.

If desired, during the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry and add it to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.

Serve the tender round steak with the sauce over mashed potatoes or rice.
