  • 1 lb beef round steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine beef, broccoli, onion, and garlic.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and black pepper.

  3. Pour the mixture over the beef and broccoli and stir to coat.

  4. Add water to the slow cooker.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the beef is tender.

  6. Serve over brown rice or quinoa.
