How To Make Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak Recipe

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Cooked white rice, for serving
Instructions

In a slow cooker, add the sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Serve the slow-cooker pepper steak over cooked white rice.
