  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, chives, cheese

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. Rub each potato with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the potatoes in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender.

  4. Once cooked, carefully remove the potatoes from the slow cooker and allow them to cool slightly before serving.

  5. Cut open the potatoes and top with desired toppings such as butter, sour cream, chives, or cheese.
