- 1/4 cup salt
- Water

In a large pot, add the peanuts, salt, and enough water to cover the peanuts completely.

Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Reduce the heat to low and let the peanuts simmer for 2 hours, or until they are tender.

Check the peanuts occasionally and add more water if needed to keep them covered.
