How To Make Calico Beans Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp chili powder
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef mixture, drained beans, cooked bacon, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder. Stir well to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or casserole dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the beans are hot and bubbly.
