  • 4 fish fillets (such as salmon or tilapia)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make a spice rub.

  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly onto both sides of the fish fillets.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Place the fish fillets in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes until the fish is cooked through.

  7. Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine the salad greens, cucumber, avocado, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.

  8. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make a dressing.

  9. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.

  10. Serve the red spiced fish over the green salad and enjoy!
