  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip each shrimp into the beaten eggs, then dredge in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the coated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Transfer the cooked shrimp to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve the pan-fried shrimp hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
