How To Make Mummy Ping’s Sambal Prawns & Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 250g green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tbsp sambal paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add the sambal paste to the pan and stir-fry for another minute.

  4. Add the prawns and green beans to the pan, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the prawns are cooked through and the green beans are tender-crisp.

  5. Stir in the soy sauce and sugar, and cook for another minute.

  6. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
