Ingredients

  • 8 oz fusilli pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with dried basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and cooked fusilli pasta until everything is well combined. Remove from heat.

  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
