Ingredients

  • 1 lb of white fish fillets
  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, flake the white fish fillets using a fork.

  2. Add breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, parsley, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties.

  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  5. Cook the fish cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Serve hot with tartar sauce or a squeeze of lemon juice.
