Ingredients
- 500g fish fillets, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown.

Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, and chili powder. Cook for another minute.

Add tomatoes and cook until softened.

Stir in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.

Gently place the fish fillets into the curry and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

Squeeze lemon juice over the curry and sprinkle with salt.

Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serve the Fisherman’s Curry hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
