How To Make Wilted Spinach Salad

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 cups of fresh spinach leaves
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • dressing:
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp of honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the spinach leaves and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.

  2. In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and crumble into small pieces.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.

  4. Add the sliced red onion, crumbled bacon, feta cheese, and chopped walnuts to the wilted spinach. Drizzle the dressing over the top and toss to combine.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
