How To Make Griddled Lettuce & Peas

Ingredients
- 4 heads of lettuce
- 1 cup of peas
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat a griddle pan over medium heat.

Cut the lettuce heads in half, keeping the cores intact.

Brush the cut sides of the lettuce with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place the lettuce halves on the griddle pan, cut-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until charred and slightly wilted.

Meanwhile, cook the peas in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Remove the lettuce from the griddle pan and arrange on a serving platter.

Top the griddled lettuce with the cooked peas.

Drizzle with a little more olive oil and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.

Serve immediately.
