How To Make Braised Lettuce with Peas

Ingredients
- 2 heads of lettuce, rinsed and chopped
- 2 cups of frozen peas
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add lettuce and peas, stir to combine. Cook for 2 minutes until lettuce starts to wilt.

Pour in vegetable broth and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.

Remove lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing excess liquid to evaporate.
